Cundhi Bodhisattva translated from language Sanskrit, which named “Cundhi Saptakoti-buddhaphagavati”. It also titled as “Big Bodhisattva”. Actually, “Cundhi” stands for lustration, means the bodhisattva’s heart is clear and bright.

Among Buddhist, Cundhi Bodhisattva has strong induction and always guardians all flesh. That is why it wins respect for its boundless beneficence. Its’ birthday celebrates on every 16^th of third month of lunar calendar.

Name of this temple is called “Ong Teck Kong”. The history of this temple can trace back to 1884 years and started by a person called Mr. Chan. Today, the present caretaker is Madam Gan Siew Keng and had taken care of this temple for about 38 years after her mother passed away. The temple is now erected under the control and management of the Cheng Hoon Teng Temple. There are two ‘Goddesses’ in this temple who each specializes in fulfilling the needs of their devotees. The two are known as ‘Chu Sing Niang Niang’ and ‘Golden Flower Goddess’ respectively. ‘Chu Sing Niang Niang’ helps those who are unable to conceive babies while “Golden Flower Goddess’ help those to choose the sex of their babies when they are in the initial stage of their pregnancy. Besides that, for those single can also come and pray to the ‘Goddesses’ for success in love and marriage. The caretaker of this temple will give instruction for devotees who come on how to pray to the ‘Goddess’ in order to get blessing from them.
