About us
As it stands now, Jonker Street is well known for its antiques. For those who know it more intimately, it is so much more than just antiques. The little shops lining this street peddle everything from the nyonya kebaya to toys, beaded slippers to funky clothing, feng shui items to unique art painted by resident artists (both famous and up and coming). There are great little restaurants and quaint cafes serving up tea, coffee, beer, nyonya food and generally anything you fancy.
With this variety in mind, we at JonkerStreet.net are here to give you an insight into what to see, what to do, where to go, what to eat and most of all how to enjoy this charming little place called Jonker Street.
For the visitor, we do the legwork for you. We test the food, we check out the artwork, the antiques and the clothing. Our Jonker Street.net editors and photographers explore the who, what and where of Jonker Street and serve it up on the website as fun and insightful reviews with photos powered by flickr which you are sure to love.
